Northwest Florida Animal Clinic
Since 1998, Northwest Florida Animal Clinic has served the pleasure and performance animal community of the Emerald Coast. We are proud to be the oldest large animal clinic in Santa Rosa and Escambia counties. Our location between the two counties is convenient for our clients and allows our rapid response to emergencies. We are ready to meet the demands of this expanding clientele with the latest technology and expertise. To educate our growing community, NWFAC hosts annual educational seminars to disseminate new advances in veterinary care with topics including reproduction, lameness evaluation, parasite control, nutrition, chiropractic, and dentistry. We are proud to serve our local towns of Pace, FL, Pensacola, FL, and Milton, FL.

Dr. Tabetha (Brown) Thompson - Owner/DVM, CVMMP
Dr. Tabetha Thompson grew up in Mobile, Alabama. She attended LSU where she played in the Tiger Marching Band for 4 years and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. She attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where she took advanced electives in Equine and Food Animal Reproduction, as well as Equine Critical Care. She graduated in May of 2012. She enjoys all aspects of large and small animal medicine but particularly loves the babies!! She joined NWFAC in 2012 and purchased the practice in 2017! In January 2018, she finished her certification for equine spinal manipulation (chiropractic) and is now offering services in Equine Chiropractics. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul and new baby, Lincoln. She also enjoys riding horses, boating and playing flute and piccolo in the Pensacola Civic Band.

Robin Cooper, Office Manager, CVT, CCRP
Robin is originally from Colorado and started with Northwest Florida Animal Clinic in 1997. She is our Office Manager and head CVT. She also is an adjunct instructor at Pensacola State College where she teaches the equine lab. Outside of work, Robin enjoys barrel racing, mountain climbing, sky diving and spending quality time with her high school sweetheart Hal, her dog "Carson", goat "Penry", cat "Molly" and her 3 horses.

Stacie Nelson, Receptionist/Tech
Stacie joined our NWFAC family in February of 2016. She grew up in Cantonment, FL. and graduated from Tate H.S. in May '00. Married her high school sweetheart, Dale and they have two kids, Haylie & Nathaniel. Both kids are very involved with FFA raising and showing cattle. Her daughter, Haylie is also a member of SGA, FCA, Key Club, Cheers and hopes to become a Vet herself one day. Stacie likes to spend most of her time with her family and animals, but also enjoys her job at the clinic. She is the full time receptionist and techs for emergencies.

Jennifer Peters, Vet Tech
Jen joined NWFAC in March of 2013. Jen is originally from Magnolia, Texas but moved to Florida with her husband Bobby, and her 2 youngest kids, Garrett and Lexy in 2012. She grew up showing Quarter Horses and has been breeding and showing Bull Mastiffs for the past 17 years. Jen spends most of her free time with her daughter Lexy whose activities include showing AQHA all around, showing and raising cattle, FFA, SGA, Varsity cheer and FCA. Jen has her AA in Liberal Arts from Pensacola State College. When not at work or the farm she loves camping, being at the beach or just hanging out with the family.

Leigh Dennie, CVT
Leigh started at Northwest Florida Animal Clinic in September 2018. She is a newlywed to her husband who is a Ssgt in the Air Force. They are both head over heels in love with their 70 lb 4-legged lap dog, Carl. Leigh went to the Pensacola State College Veterinary Technology Program and graduated May 2018 with her AS degree. She passed her VTNE in July 2018 earning her CVT credentials. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse and spending time with her husband and dog.

Jessica Mullins, Vet Tech
Jess previously teched for another local clinic before joining our team in January 2018. She enjoys spending time with her little family of 2 dogs "Simba" & "Nola", cat "Booger", 4 horses "Smoke", "Gypsy", "Tick", "Kat" and goat "Clover". In her free time she likes to ride her horses, barrel race, play on four wheelers, take pictures and spend time with her boyfriend, Daniel.

Ali Jackson-Dykes, Kennel Tech
Ali grew up in Jay, FL. She is married to Brenan Dykes and they have a seven year old son named, Jace. She started working with NWFAC in November 2017. Ali loves to rodeo, barrel race and spend time with her family and animals outside.
